Founded in the 1990s, the East Winds Saxes have entertained audiences all around the Pittsburgh area. Their varied repertoire of jazz, pop, rock, and serious concert music has been heard as part of EWSB concerts and independently on stages such as Carnegie Library of Homestead and Phipps Conservatory.

The East Winds Chamber Clarinets are comprised of members of the East Winds Symphonic Band drawn together by the joy of playing clarinet together in a chamber music setting. Typically performing as a quintet, the group explores a wide-ranging selection of music from classical to pop. They have performed on East Winds Symphonic Band concert programs and independently in chamber music venues including libraries, fund-raisers, and retirement communities.
